Pets can experience watery eyes, mild irritation, or discharge for many different reasons, including environmental allergens, foreign material, inflammation, or infection. Because the underlying cause matters when an eye problem occurs, persistent or significant symptoms should be evaluated by a veterinarian rather than treated solely with an over-the-counter eye product.

Important Eye-Care Information

Eye problems can sometimes progress quickly, and redness, swelling, squinting, excessive tearing, cloudiness, pain, or unusual discharge can indicate a condition requiring veterinary attention. Corneal problems in particular should be addressed promptly because some can threaten vision.

For pets with persistent eye irritation, significant discharge, injury, cloudiness, squinting, obvious pain, or suspected infection, consult your veterinarian before using an eye-care product. Your veterinarian can determine whether the underlying issue is bacterial, viral, allergic, traumatic, or related to another eye condition and recommend appropriate treatment.

Directions: 
Thoroughly clean out your pet's eyes with sterile saline, or ReNewedPet's Eyewash. Apply to your pets eyes beginning with 1 drop daily and working up slowly over the course of a week to 2 drops up to 2-3 times per day until symptoms are resolved.  

*Slight redness and increased irritation of the eye sometimes occurs within the 1st 1-2 days of use, this is a normal reaction as the remedy is working. Depending on the pet's sensitivities and overall condition this product sometimes requires an alternate use protocol for success; one may apply 1 drop each eye once every 3 days for 2 weeks, then increase to 1 drop every other day for 2 weeks, followed up finally by 1 drop daily for an additional week until all symptoms are resolved.

Organic mct oil, organic aloe vera oil, organic calendula extract, organic chickweed extract.

For pets whose eyes are ultra-sensitive you may need to follow a very specific schedule of gradually increasing the use of the eye drops to allow the eyes to build up tolerance to the drops to eventually resolve the condition. In such cases, follow this schedule as detailed: 

Day 1: eyewash 2x daily and 1 drop eye remedy each eye 1x daily
Day 2. eyewash only 2x daily
Day 3: eyewash only 2x daily
Day 4: eyewash 2x daily and 1 drop eye remedy each eye 2x daily
Day 5: eyewash only 2x daily
Day 6: eyewash 2x daily 1 drop eye remedy 1x daily
Day 7: eyewash only 2x daily
Day 8: eyewash 2x daily 1 drop eye remedy 2x daily
Day 9: eyewash only 2x daily
Day 10: eyewash 2x daily 1 drop eye remedy 2x daily
Day 11: eyewash only 2x daily
Day 12: eyewash 2x daily 1 drop eye remedy 2x daily

... continue to rotate day 11 and 12 schedule until all symptoms are healed.
